Relevance: Articles must be directly related to economic policy or finance.
Originality & Exclusivity: Content must be unique to www.economicmemos.com upon publication. The content may not be published elsewhere until one month after it is published on www.economicmemos.com.
Tone: The tone should be informative, professional, and engaging.
2. Format & Length
Word Count: Between 600 and 1,500 words.
Formatting: Submit drafts in Microsoft Word format (.docx) only, or directly within the body of an email.
3. Links & Credibility
Value-Add Only: Links should be used to support your claims (studies, data).
Self-Promotion: You may include one link to your own website or LinkedIn profile in your author bio at the end of the post. Links in the body of the text for self-promotional purposes are not permitted.
4. Editorial Rights & Final Control
www.economicmemos.com reserves absolute editorial discretion.
I reserve the right to accept or decline any submission based on my assessment of whether the content is interesting, or whether I agree or disagree with the viewpoint presented.
